Rice cooker chicken rice

Just now I noticed my baby blog crossed 1million excited...then how I will sit without sharing this news to you people....thank you thank you so much for the support. Being a lazy blogger I reached here ... it's really unbelievable....

To share this news I picked one simple recipe from my draft, this is the easiest rice (biriyani) recipe I ever made. When you feel so lazy and don't want to spend more time in kitchen do try this recipe. This one is my life saver recipe (it saved my time during my exam period), for this recipe you don't need to worry about how you cut the veggies, don't need to stir continuously but keep an eye on veggies while they cook.

¾ - 1 kg chicken (medium size pieces )
2 ½ cup biriyani rice (I used jeerakashala)
1/2  cup oil

a)       1 cinnamon stic
4 cardamoms (open the pod)
4 cloves
1 star anise
1 bay leave
b)         2 onion sliced
3 garlic cloves (big ize)chopped
1 inch ginger chopped
7 green chilli chopped
1 big size tomotto chopped
½ tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp pepper powder
mint leaves and coriander leaves
½ tsp lemon juice
salt to taste

1)    First switch on the rice cooker. Heat the cooker with oil (if you washed the pot before this then you need to heat your pot without adding anything)
2)   Once the oil heated open the lid and add the ingredients listed in a) section. Once the nice aroma spread add the ingredient listed in section b) exept mint leaves, coriander leaves and lemon juice.  Close the lid and cook for 6-8 minutes. In between you need stir and make sure the masala is not getting burnd.
3)    Add chicken pieces. Mix well and if needed add more salt (salt should be high because we are adding rice and water in it so the salt distribution should be equal in all). Now add ¾  cup water, close the lid and cook
4)    Once the chicken cooked in 80% add the water as your rice cooker instruction
5)    Now add washed and drained rice, leaves and lemon juice. Finally make sure the salt. Close the lid and cook. Once the rice cooker automatically switched off mix it well and serve

Thank you for taking time
