Cabbage onion vada

I am sure no need of any introduction for this snack. Yes from name itself you can know what it is. This is a crispy tasty snack that prepared with onion and cabbage. 

Ingredients
Onion                                  : 2 (thinly sliced)
Cabbage                             : ½ cup (thinly sliced)
Chopped green chilli        : 2 tsp
Chopped ginger and garlic    
: 1 tsp
Curry leaves                       : 2 stalks
Turmeric powder              : ¼ tsp
Chilli powder                      : 1 tsp
All purpose flour               : 2 ½ -3  tbsp
Corn flour                           : ½ tsp (non vegetarians can add 1 egg instead of corn flour this will make  vada more crispy and tasty)
Salt to taste                    
Oil for frying

Preparation
Mix all the ingredients together and sprinkle water on it to make thick batter (if you are using egg don’t add water).Take small part of batter, drop in hot oil and fry until it turns golden brown (no need to make any particular shape). Serve hot with tomato sauce.
