Besan burfi

I prepared a basic burfi not added more ingredients just used besan flour. This one was my rough preparation. This was an instant decision so without having any prior set up I prepared this. Decorated cashews are not looking nice because instead of slicing I crushed it but the taste was super that I guarantee.

Besan flour                : 1 cup
Butter                       : 120 g
Sugar                        : 1 cup
Water                       : ½ cup
Pinch of cardamom powder
Sliced cashews (crushed cashews)   : 3 tbsp

1)    Melt the butter in a pan and add besan flour into it
2)   Mix it well and roast at medium heat
3)   Stir continuously switch off the fire when its color changes slightly
4)   In a pan boil the sugar with water till it get 1 thread consistency
5)   Add cardamom powder in sugar syrup
6)   Pour this sugar syrup in roasted besan flour ,mix nicely
7)   Transfer this in a greased plate and spread evenly
8)   Sprinkle sliced cashews on besan mixture for garnishing and let it cool
9)   Once it cooled cut this into square pieces
