Pineapple tart

Prepared a simple and easy pineapple tart. I didn't made any decoration for this simply kept plane. And I forgot the final step 'egg wash' that is what exactly gives its Shiny brown color.  You can see this is not shiny but the taste was super. The pineapple that I used here gave its exact taste really I loved it. I am sure your kids gonna grab this ;)

250 g pineapple (make pieces)
6 tbsp sugar
1 inch piece of cinnamon stick
40g butter (at room temp)
3 tbsp sugar
1 egg (or 3 tbsp vegetable oil)
1 cup of all purpose flour
Pinch of salt
1 egg yolk (or 3 tbsp of milk)

1)    Roughly blend pineapple pieces with food processor
2)   Transfer this into a pot/pan. Add cinnamon stick into it
3)   Cook in high flame stir continuously
4)   Once the juice has evaporated add 6 tbsp of sugar
5)   Stir continuously till it become thick and light brown
6)   Reduce the flame and cook till it detaches from the sides
7)   Turn off and let it cool
8)   Once it cooled make small ball and keep aside
9)   In a bowl add butter and sugar. Beat well
10) Then add egg into this and beat few more minute
11)  Add all purpose flour and salt
12) Mix nicely to make smooth dough (dough shouldn’t be too sticky and too dry)
13) Take small piece and flatten with your finger place the pineapple ball in centre. Make any shape

14) Arrange this in baking tray.  Finally brush egg yolk (or milk) on each tart and bake at 1600C for 25 minute
