Vegetable pulou

Here I am sharing vegetable pulou..I cooked this in my own ways and don't know original pulou is have any changes or not. I used to make pulou with slight changes by adding some extra ingredients. This is really a comfort food that I ever know..

2 cup Basmati rice
5 cloves
Small cinnamon stick
4 split cardamom pods
1 small size onion (sliced)
4 green chili (chopped)
¾ tbsp chopped ginger and garlic
½ cup green beans (small pieces)
½ cup carrot (small pieces)
¼ cup frozen green peas
3 ½ cup boiled vegetable stock (1 cube veg stock added in water)
Salt to taste
2 -3 tbsp oil
2 tbsp butter

1)    Heat oil in a cooker add butter into this (you can add ghee instead of butter)
2)   Add cloves, cinnamon and cardamom. Fry well
3)   Fry onion, green chili, garlic and ginger for 3 minute
4)   Next add beans and carrot. Saute and cook for five minute
5)   Add green peas and saute for 1 minute
6)   Add salt and boiled veg stock
7)   Next add washed basmati rice into this
8)   Close the lid and cook at low flame
9)   When first whistle come switch off the flame and keep undisturbed till pressure release completely
10) Open the lid, mix slowly and serve hot
