Mushroom curry / koon curry

Lots of works in lab chasing some target don’t know what will be the end result...only blogging gives happiness...today I am sharing Mushroom curry- taste guaranteed mushroom curry :) 




Mushroom curry
1 ½ cup diced mushrooms
2 medium size onion (or 1 big size onion)
1 ½ - 2 tbsp chopped ginger and garlic
1 big size long green pepper (or 4 chopped green chili)
1 diced tomato
1 ½- 2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp garam masala (special)*
¼ cup thick coconut milk (I used canned coconut milk)
1 ½ tbsp coriander powder
Salt to taste
2 ½ tbsp Oil
Coriander leaves

Preparation

Heat oil in a pan and saute chopped ginger and garlic very well until the nice smell comes. Add sliced onion and saute till it become transparent. Then add green chili after that tomato. Once the tomato mashed nicely add all spice powder and salt. Stir well till the oil clear then add little bit of water. Add mushroom mix and close the lid. Cook in low flame for 8 to 10 minute. Add coconut milk and keep in low flame for 1 minute. Finally add coriander leaves and serve hot with hot rotis.


*turmeric, red chili, coriander, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, cumin, black cardamom, nutmeg, fennel, ginger
